The workers at Del’s Pastry in Toronto have overcome obstacles and thrived.

A devastating fire destroyed their original workplace, and they re-opened in a newer, larger facility in 2022. And their newest success is ratifying a record setting collective bargaining agreement.

Our BCTGM Members have just ratified and signed a historic collective bargaining agreement.

Highlights include wage increase of 19% over three years, with 15% in the first year alone. The Union was also successful in negotiating a more robust health care plan; compared to the previous contract, the Company now pays  more than double the previous health care contributions.
