Our Brothers and Sisters in Memphis, Local 390G, have been working without a contract since May 1, 2022. Yes that is correct – 2022!
Their Local has filed complaints with the Federal Government (USA) against their employer for failing to bargain in good faith. They have been ‘surface bargaining’. Their employer, IFF, wants to reduce their benefits and take away overtime premium pay.
BCTGM Local 390G workers at IFF produce soy-based protein products used in baby formula, nutritional powders and other goods distributed by Nestle, Purina, Kellogg’s and Abbott Nutrition.
